Be sure to add a Lucky 8 Punch to your Wish List

I found this wonderful tutorial from Lil Luna's, using the Lucky 8 Punches and I wanted to share it with you.  She's making Rosettes.punched-accordion3

Here is how you can do it too:

SUPPLIES:

- Scrapbook paper
- Lucky 8 Punch
- Paper Cutter
- Hot Glue Gun
- Fishing Line/String

1. Begin by using your punch. What you will do is put your paper in the corner, PUNCH, and then flip the paper and PUNCH again. I only needed the edges punched, so I flipped to the opposite side and punched again. If you want the whole paper punch you just continue to punch – flip – punch – flip – punch – flip, etc. until you have done all the sides. For a video tutorial on how to use the punch you can go HERE.

2. From there I cut the paper in half at 6 inches and then cut off the excess.

3. Then I folded the paper in half and folded the paper back and forth so it was zig-zagged. I continued to make the accordion by hot gluing 5 pieces together and then hot gluing that together in a circle. From there you will push the centers in and hot glue. Hold until it stays together on it’s own. Add a circle piece on top to help hold it.

4. You will also add a circle piece in back. You will then cut some fishing line and hot glue onto the back.

5. Hang and display.

Thanks Luna, for sharing the fun tutorial.

Be sure to add your favorite Lucky 8 Punch to your Scrapadoodle Wish List.
