For the Copic crazies.....

So many of you are CRAZY for Copic markers and we've seen the most amazing work done with these wonderful blending markers. So I thought these kits were a really cool idea: Copic has "themed" sets now, taking the guess work out of choosing colors that blend well together. Pick the kit that fits what you like to color the most. Less time trying to decide which colors to pick = more play time! Click on the pic to see it bigger and you'll be able to read the themes that we have in.

This week has brought a LOT of new paper lines. We R Memory Keepers sent us a cute Easter line--here's just 3 of them (don't you just love the pink Peep paper?!) They also sent a line called Fiesta--love the little pinatas. This paper would be great for so many things....trips to Mexico, birthday pages, or just a girls night out at your local Mexican restaurant!!
Two lines arrived from Basic Grey. We are loving this birthday line called Life of the Party. We also received Hello Luscious but I forgot to take a picture of that one--guess you'll have to stop over and see!

Come play with some of our toys this Saturday

This week's shipments brought us some new Tim Holtz products. One of them is this Sizzix die: So we decided you needed to play with it! We'll have our Sizzix machine out all day this Saturday and we'll help you make this little strip that you can place on the next page you create.

After you've die cut your word strip, we'll have another machine out for you to play with. If you like the look that distressed edges give you, this is the machine for you. As you can see from our sample, the edges were run through this Zutter Distrezz-it-all and it easily roughs up the edges for you....come try it!

The last step will be for you to add some gold gems just for fun and your strip is ready to use!

Combining 2 products......

For those of you who love embossing folders like I do well how about this?? A whole rack full of new folders has arrived at the store. TONS of really cool new ones!! Remember these will work in all your machines whether you have Sizzix, Cuttlebug, Texture Boutique, etc. And if you don't know how to use these just ask....we'd be happy to show you how easy it is to emboss!
So we've had these 7 gypsies tags called Princesca--thought it was time to combine the two!! The tag sets comes with a whopping 16 tags + 3 lengths of pretty ribbon to hang them with.

I took one of the new embossing folders and also used one of the Princesca tags and came up with this card:

It's amazing what those folders do to plain pink cardstock don't you think--it's the kind of thing that makes your recipient say WOW!!
Here's another tag from the set and I just stamped the sentiment right onto it. Hard to tell but all the tags have silver glitter and would look beautiful hanging from a gift bag.

So our appeal to you continues!! We hope you help us out with even ONE card from all of you. This is our "station" we have set up with all the info you need and where you can drop off your cards.

Drop them in the ammo box that was loaned to us compliments of Teresa's Dad. We thank him for letting us use it and for his service!!
