New Bazzill

New cardstock that arrived this week and this is over the top COOL! Looks like regular old solid cardstock right?'s embossed! They've done the work for you. It's beautiful in person. The best part? It's only .79 per sheet. At that rate, you can stock up big time on this. Adds a beautiful texture to your pages.

A Sneak Peek on a March Class

Well we are very excited by the return of Wendy Vecchi to Scrapadoodle. She'll be teaching at the store next month and check out how fabulous these flowers are!! If you've been interested in distress inks, grunge board, grunge paper, or just a new way to MAKE ART this is the class for you! Click on picture to see detail. Here are the details she sent us on this class:
studio 490 funky flower workshop

You'll be among the first to make some funky flowers, using my new studio 490 stamps, which were just released @ CHA a few weeks ago.

Here's the juicy details...

We'll make 6 flowers using stamps, inks, grungeboard and the coolest new product...grungePAPER. We'll embellish them with products from Maya Road, Tim's Idea-ology and we'll use some distress stickles and some Perfect Pearls too, for a little bling!

We'll all make the same 6 flowers, but you have the option to make them the color of your choice, by using any distress ink color. So be thinking about the colors you'd like, if you have a special project/gift in mind. You can also customize them by using your choice of background stamps.

You'll leave with 6 different flowers which will make the perfect embellishment for your cards, scrapbook pages, frames, gift bags or gift boxes. They also look great on journals & tote bags or you can add a pin back & actually wear one.
Add one to a jar candle for another great gift idea. There are tons of possibilities for your creations.
These flowers are really fun & they were a huge hit @ CHA.

I hope you can join me on Saturday March 7th from 1 'til 4 pm.
ps...I'll bring all new samples from CHA for show & tell...
Workshop fee is $35.
Call soon to reserve your spot--this class will fill up fast!

Felt icons

I love these little felt bugs Autumn Leaves. The detail on them is amazing for the price! I used one of them to make this card. The patterned paper is also Autumn Leaves and the green is just Bazzill run through the Cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing template.
I used the other bug to make this layout. The plastic paper at the top is KI Memories. The stickers are part of the matching Autumn Leaves line. At the bottom I just swiped a trail of pink paint with a brush to create a "path" for the caterpillar.

So you get a card AND a layout--all from one little package of felt icons as the inspiration!

Some layouts to share....

First is Carrie's monthly class. Come create this layout on Tuesday 2/17 from 6-8. Carrie always comes up with beautiful layouts for her monthly class and this one is no exception. Don't you just love the flouishes?? And you''ll get to use the wildly popular Martha Stewart border punch for the heart edges. Remember you can click on the picture to see this bigger.
Call to sign up, class fee is $15. I'm betting you don't have all your Christmas pictures scrapped yet?! Here's a little inspiration from Lisa. She created this with our own Doodleprints line of paper and added the snowflakes.
Lisa also created this page kit which will be for sale in the store. As always, check the board right as you come in the door for page kits--a quick, easy way to get some pages done. Everything included, just add pictures!
