It seems most Companies have their own version of Washi Tape, so I thought I'd search the web for some fun new idea's. Here's a few I found that I thought you might enjoy.
Coasters and Wooden/Chipboard Letters
After layering your Washi Tape on a cork coaster, add a couple layers of decoupage.
Cover wooden or Chipboard letters for a cool wall decoration.
Keyboard Keys, I don't know how long they'd hold up, but it is fun looking… it'd make me smile to us it everyday.
Washi Tape Card with flowers… notice the entire background and flower is Washi Tape.
It would be so easy to use the 12 X 12 Sheets of Washi Tape for this background.
To create the flower, Cover some scraps, punch out a Scalloped Circle, fold in half and then fold in half again. Add a tiny
clear adhesive dot to the top, inside corner of the open edge, to hold it closed.
Now, why didn't we save our empty tape dispensers?
What a fabulous journal.
Try adding a strip or to a clear glass votive or vase of fresh flowers… how pretty!!!
Here's a cool video creating a Washi Tape Polaroid Frame for your pages…
Here's a cool tip on creating uniform size pieces of Washi Tape…
This video is from Tim Holtz and his Tissue Tape (Washi Tape) Tip for making his Rosette easier easier to create…

I found this wonderful tutorial from Lil Luna's, using the Lucky 8 Punches and I wanted to share it with you. She's making Rosettes.
Here is how you can do it too:
- Scrapbook paper
- Lucky 8 Punch
- Paper Cutter
- Hot Glue Gun
- Fishing Line/String
1. Begin by using your punch. What you will do is put your paper in the corner, PUNCH, and then flip the paper and PUNCH again. I only needed the edges punched, so I flipped to the opposite side and punched again. If you want the whole paper punch you just continue to punch – flip – punch – flip – punch – flip, etc. until you have done all the sides. For a video tutorial on how to use the punch you can go HERE.
2. From there I cut the paper in half at 6 inches and then cut off the excess.
3. Then I folded the paper in half and folded the paper back and forth so it was zig-zagged. I continued to make the accordion by hot gluing 5 pieces together and then hot gluing that together in a circle. From there you will push the centers in and hot glue. Hold until it stays together on it’s own. Add a circle piece on top to help hold it.
4. You will also add a circle piece in back. You will then cut some fishing line and hot glue onto the back.
5. Hang and display.
Thanks Luna, for sharing the fun tutorial.
Be sure to add your favorite Lucky 8 Punch to your Scrapadoodle Wish List.
Remember, if your loved one purchases from your Wish List, they get a 15% discount on that item.

I love this stamp set, it is so versatile. I used the upper left image as a Poinsettia, even though its not one. I stamped the image 3 times in basic red dye ink and cut it out. I stamped 2 of the leaves in basic green dye ink and punched out the center of the leaf with Martha Stewart's Rose Leaf Punch. Using the Epiphany Craft Punch SST-02, I punched 3 embellishments out of red cardstock and sat above the ribbon.
Loving Tulips, I stamped the image 3 times using TH Scattered Straw + Mustard Seed. Add the Mustard Seed to your stamp first, then just add a pounce or two of the Scattered Straw. Cut out 2 of the tulip images. then on the third image only cut out the center petal. Now layer these with foam dots.
I layered 2 leaves together coloring with TH Markers in Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters. Add the Shabby Shutters to your stamps first and just add a touch of Peeled Paint here and there before you stamp.
