Bella Boulevard

2 new lines in from Bella--Christmas Wishes and Finally Fall.
I adore these little penguins with their scarves flying in the wind!

This woodgrain paper is fabulous and especially paired with the little trees:
I know lots of you love anything with owls so here you go......how cute are these!
This is a nice idea too. The penguins come in a regular 12 x 12 sheets but also in a downsized version (6 x 6). PERFECT proportions for cardmakers.

Mini Smash books

Smash books have been one of the hottest things going this summer. We've sold out of them already but this week brought these mini books in so I thought you'd want to know! We also got in the pen/glue combo that goes with the books. These are perfect for carrying in your purse and you can just stick things in your book on the go.

Buttons

I had someone ask me about this the other night at the store so I thought I'd share here in case you didn't know. We have bins of loose buttons in the store in various colors. It's such a nice option to be able to buy just a couple buttons instead of a whole pack. BUT, did you know you can buy a whole scoop for only $2.99?? And it's a big scoop too:
Feel free to mix and match colors too. Quite a bargain!!

Self - inking stampers

Did you know that you could order a self inking address stamp at Scrapadoodle? These are from a company called PJ Stamps and what we love most about them is their clever designs. We have a catalog on the front counter by the register. All you have to do is place the order at the store and then the stamp is sent to your home.
Here are just a couple of samples:

Beautiful weather

We've been so lucky the last couple days with a break from the heat! So maybe you've ventured out, taken the kids to the zoo or the ball park? In case you didn't know, we've got those local attractions covered for you in the form of 12 x 12 papers:Two different ones for the Peoria Zoo:
We also have Wildlife Prairie Park and we are always open to suggestions from you....if you think of one we are missing, let us know! We have St. Jude run paper coming in the next week and if you ran in the Steamboat Classic, that one is already in.

This week

The first arrival from CHA has come in! This is the new retro style Wizard of Oz line--lots of different styles and all are double sided. The ruby red slipper one is my favorite!
Also in is the latest issue of Scrapbooks etc:
As of Tuesday, there were only 3 copies of the Copic marker coloring guides left--they have flown out the door!

Layout idea

This layout started just because I liked this little $1.99 stamp. I also LOVE this line of paper--the colors and the patterns are awesome and need little embellishment. So then I just got down to business with a simple scallop punch. I grabbed a plate from the cabinet and traced a circle in pencil just for a guide on which to place the scallops. I crumpled all the scallop punches and then just attached them with brads. Really that's about it--sooooo easy!
The large scallop is a Sizzix die that you've seen here before....it's the same one down below on the garden page. It's the perfect spot to put that little stamp that started the whole page!

Sharing

I've got several things to share with you today. The first is self-explanatory:Here's Carrie's monthly layout. She used beautiful punches both top and bottom on this (remember you can click on the picture to see it bigger).
This is an AMAZING project compliments of Miss Chris. What a great way to remember your family's birthdays!
Here's a close-up. Each month has a card, decorated to suit the season, with spots to write birthdays on.
It's pretty simple by using these stamps:
We have everything you need to make this -- the frames, tiny clothespins, the paper is Jillibean Soup, baker's twine to string the cards with. Would be a fun summer project for you and the kids!!

Last is a clever idea from Carrie. We all get excited when we get a new dog/cat line in. Here's a wonderful idea--treat jar for your pups all decorated with this cute paper & tags from We R Memory Keepers.
