Jillian is back!

We had so much fun at Jillian's January class and we are thrilled that she's coming back in February. Here's how she describes this next one:

I'll be teaching another class at Scrapadoodle on Feb 24th. It will be a two hour mini-album called Today. Students will be challenged to take 8-10 photos of their life in one single day. This could be your child eating at the breakfast table, your morning coffee, or your computer at work! We'll use Claudine Hellmuth paints again in springy colors as well as some fun American Crafts cardstock. I'll also be talking more about gel medium and how you can use it for an acrylic album.

CHA

We are back from Anaheim, for the annual CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) trade show. Watch for all the new product that will start arriving in the store! One of my favorite parts about visiting the booths at CHA is to get page layout ideas. All the companies use their best designers and pull out all the stops to show off their new products. I wanted to share with you some of my favorites from last week: LOVE the varity of butterflies used here:

Speaking of butterflies, this one (so sorry about the blur) was amazing and we have all these coming!! Wait till you see them in person--each one has rhinestones....

NEW!! Project 12 Class

Scrapadoodle is offering a new class called Project 12 to keep you challenged throughout 2010. Lisa will be here in January to kick off this new endeavor. You will create a one-page layout, a two-page layout, and a card or two. Along with leaving class with these items, you will learn a couple of new techniques. Lisa will use her new favorite cartridge on the Cricut, "It's Cold Outside," and show you how to create some fabulous snowflakes on glitter paper and on stencil plastic. We will use then use those stencil cut-outs to create wonderful effects with Glimmer Mist. And if that is not enough, you will leave class with some inspiration from the Internet to keep you spurred on for a whole month. Come join in the excitement on Sunday, January 31, from 1:00 - 3:00!!
