New Fiskar's Trimmers

So maybe you're like me and you've been using the same old trimmer forever. Well, it might be time to trade her in for a new model. These Fiskars trimmers just came in and I just wanted you to see how cool they look. There is a couple things I really like about this trimmer--see the dark orange things in each corner? Those are rubberized feet--keeps the trimmer from moving on your table or countertop while you are using it. Very smart idea. It also has a swing out ruler/guide for larger paper sizes. You can buy specialized blades for it that cut other edges. Mainly though it just looks cute!! Can you say that about your current trimmer?! :-)

Tons of new product this week

We've gotten LOTS of boxes this week--Heidi Grace is one of the new lines in. I love these papers--they shimmer, some are embossed and some are flocked. The type of papers you just have to come in and touch! They are so pretty--Here are just a couple of the birthday papers.

Also, there is some really great Heidi Grace Halloween, also embossed and flocked.

Scrapadoodle will be hosting our first "Swarm." What's a swarm? Swarms are where Cricut owners gather to learn new techniques, win prizes, do make & takes, eat and have fun. Basic Grey has arrived at the 'Doodle'

It's here!! Basic Grey is one of those lines that everyone asks me "When is it going to be here?" They always come up with cool, innovative new papers. They've introduced 4 new lines: Mellow, Recess, Obscure, and Periphery.

Just for fun, here's three of my favorites close-up from the Recess line. I just love those little people!! Click on the picture to see them bigger. I just think they are funny. Come in soon because Basic Grey is one of those paper lines that won't stay in the store long!

Trick or Treat

Well you may not be thinking about Halloween right now (as hot as it's been!) but we are. Just in is the new Making Memories line for Halloween. The coolest part is that some of these papers are flocked--see the spider web paper below? It's flocked--you have to come in and feel it! I think it would be awesome for cards or invitations just because of the way it feels. Lots of fabulous embellishments to go with these papers too. There's a cool little kit too (shown below) to make a chipboard mini album. The spider web on the cover of the album is flocked too.

Bring on the new stuff!

I love the weeks following CHA--almost everyday something new arrives. Case in point: our new black and white section. The products here are from Sweetwater and Luxe. The Luxe papers are double sided and have way cool rub-ons to go with. I love using black and white papers with just a splash of pink or red as a mat or other embellishment.

New Arrivals!

Sorry there hasn't been any updates recently. I was on vacation. I ment to post before I left saying I would be gone for a week or so...but with trying to get my whole family packed for a week, time just slipped away and the next thing I knew we were in the car driving.

I know everyone is ready for the new products....they have started arriving. Just in are 9 new lines from Reminisce. The lines have papers (yes many are the shimmer papers we all love) stickers, rub-ons and other embellishments.
