Green Doodlebug Drawing Day

Over on the right you'll always find the schedule for what's going on at the store. So now you are asking "what's Green Doodlebug Drawing Day?" Well it's simple. Stop in the store and show us your green bag. Not only are you being kind to the environment, but fill out an entry blank and you'll be entered in a drawing to win $10 in Doodlebucks to spend in the store. That's $10 free dollars to buy yourself anything in the store!!

We'll draw a winner on the 15th of this month, then we'll toss those entries, start over, and pull another winner on the 31st! Good Luck!

Crate Paper

Here's a line to keep your eye out for.....coming soon. We love Crate Paper here--it has such a nice, quality feel to it. This is new from them, called Lemongrass. Beautiful colors--can't wait to see it in the store!

goes to Pebbles, Inc. We love how they've packaged their new chipboard line in "potato chip" bags. Lynne ordered the whole line so look for these in the store in the upcoming weeks.

Cuttlebug embossing templates

Well I have to tell you I am wild about these embossing templates. We recently got some in the store and I started playing with them and WOW these are cool!! I started with plain yellow cardstock. I cut some 3 1/2" flowers out on the Cricut (with the George template you all have!).
Then I simply sandwiched the cut out flower inside the embossing template and rolled it through the Cuttlebug--so simple. I think it adds such a nice texture to my layout and seriously, it just takes minutes! We have all different designs, flowers, faux stitching, doodles, grass. Stop in and see the whole collection! Card club this Friday

Looking for something fun to do? This Friday, June 25th, is card club Friday. Stop by and learn how to make this clever card. You will learn how to stamp & emboss, and how to make this accordian type card. Card Club will meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Only $5.

Back from the Trade Show

The girls are back from the summer trade show in Chicago and now we wait for all the new product to start hitting the store. We'll be posting teasers here regularly to show you what you can expect to see at the store in the next few weeks.

They loved all the new product from a company called Little Yellow Bicycle. We have all their new lines coming. Love Letters is one of them:

Maya Road

Just unpacked a new shipment from Maya Road tonite. Some really cute chipboard albums and chipboard sets in cute little "lunch boxes." If you haven't seen the house book that Sarah did, you must come see it. It's on the front counter and it is fabulous. Chipboard is so versatile......cover it, paint it, ink it--you decide.

Great Impressions Stamp class

We'll be having a Great Impressions card class this Thursday. Teresa will be teaching several of the cards from the new stamp of the month program. Even if you can't attend the class, you can still cash in on the savings. Each month we have a selected stamp of the month--you can purchase this stamp half off with the purchase of another stamp at full price. The stamp of the month this time is the one on the left: "Pets Leave Pawprints on our Hearts."

Cricut Design Studio Software Class

Just wanted to share some pictures from Saturday's class. It was an awesome sight--all these ladies with their laptops learning the new software for the Cricut. Leslie did a fabulous job as usual and we had such positive response from everyone. Over and over I heard how happy the students were and how much they learned. Thanks to Leslie and thanks to all of you who came. If you have a chance to take a class from Leslie you should jump at the chance! She'll be doing her regular Cricut class the last Friday and Saturday of the month. This month she'll be featuring the Beyond Birthdays cartridge--sign up early because these fill fast, especially the Saturday sessions.
