New bags and big thanks!

New from K & Co. are these messenger style tote bags. Designed by Amy Butler they are called creativity bags and the fabric is awesome. If you are going to create beautiful scrapbooks, you should carry them in a beautiful bag right :-) I don't expect these to last long in the store!
A big Thanks to everyone who came to our retreat this weekend. Just look at all the creativity in motion!! It is so much fun to see what everyone is working on, sharing ideas, and enjoying this community of scrapbook artistry--you gals inspire us!!

Check out this totally cool idea

I ran across this cool idea at Cathy Zielske's blog (of Simple Scrapbook fame). It's a great way to document an ordinary day in the life of you. You just take 12 pictures on the 12th day of the month--doesn't need to be anything "eventful" going on--just an average day (unless of course your birthday is on the 12th and that IS eventful!). Anyway, I thought it was a unique idea for scrapbooking something other that your typical holiday, birthday, vacation layouts. Don't forget you can click on it to see it better.

Happy Hour and Hero Arts Cards

If you visit our Creative Cafe this Friday for Happy Hour this is our project. It's a cute little key chain --you can make one in either of the color lines we have in the Cafe. If you have a Creative Cafe punch card the cost is $6.00, without the card cost is $8.00. Come in from 4-6 and we'll show you how.
Here are 3 of the 5 cards Cynthia will be teaching on Tuesday March 18th at 6 p.m. She'll be using Hero Arts Stamps but with a totally different take on how to use your stamps. Come join us and find out what she's got up her sleeve!

New books and new papers

Several new books and magazines arrived today. We have the new Paper Crafts magazine, restocks on Becky Higgins Sketches, and this brand new book from Stacey Julian. It's a new approach to organizing all those photos you have and couldn't we all use a system for that!
A shipment came from Reminisce today with several lines: Easter, Graduation, Dance and an adorable Safari line--here's a couple samples of this paper:
